Packaging Technician (M/F)

Dois Corvos is seeking a mechanically-talented Packaging Technician to join the team. This position will help us keep our beer flowing into cans, bottles and kegs. Also: cellar operations, warehouse organization, cleaning tasks and general maintenance. Troubleshooting skills come in handy when assesment and repairs of equipment are needed. Job candidates should be eager to learn about all aspects of brewery and packaging operations. The ability to be self-directed, multi-task, and help where needed is essential.

Team members are expected to perform the following duties:

• Clean, configure, and run can filler, bottle filler & labeler
• Operate keg washer/filler
• Troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs and cleaning of equipment
• Ensure quality of packaged product and report QC issues to supervisor
• Perform CIP (clean in place) of fermenters
• Maintain cleanliness of brewery
• Accountable for personal safety and for those around

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Understanding and experience using tools, measuring instruments to ensure cans and bottles are filled to specification
• Ability to work in a team setting and also independently
• Ability to be agile and lift or move 25kg, work on feet for entire shift
• Move pallets, organize space; willingness to become forklift certified
• Basic English language skills
